Tithing: a faithful act of stewardship
Tithing, with its roots in Jewish traditions, involves the act of giving one-tenth of our income to further God's work. It is an expression of gratitude for the abundant blessings God has bestowed upon us. Our faithful response in tithing is a tangible demonstration of our trust in God's providence and His call to share the gifts He has entrusted to us. This act of giving empowers us to detach ourselves from material possessions and embrace a mindset of abundance rather than scarcity. It reminds us that God is our ultimate provider and encourages us to be good stewards of His blessings.
At Sacred Heart, your contribution plays an integral role in funding various ministries that serve our community and reach out to the marginalized. Just as the early Christian communities pooled their resources for the common good, our combined tithes foster unity and ensure the flourishing of our parish family. Tithing should not be perceived as an obligation imposed upon us, but rather as a joyful response to God's grace. God does not need our financial contributions; rather, He desires our cheerful and sacrificial giving.

Online Giving at Sacred Heart
Online giving has become an increasingly popular method for parishioners to contribute to the mission of Sacred Heart Parish. With just a few clicks, individuals can make a secure donation from the comfort of their own homes. Online giving provides a convenient and flexible option, allowing people to give at any time and from anywhere in the world. Additionally, it streamlines the process for both donors and the parish, reducing administrative tasks and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Whether it's a regular tithe, a special collection, or a donation to a specific cause, online giving enables us to support the church's ministries and outreach efforts with ease and efficiency.
Our Parish now uses PushPay for online giving. If you are switching from OSV to PushPay, you will need to cancel your OSV giving. Follow the instructions below to cancel OSV.
